The length of time that a cookie remains on your computer or mobile device depends on whether it is a “persistent” or “session” cookie. Session cookies last until you stop browsing and persistent cookies last until they expire or are deleted. Most of the cookies we use are persistent and will expire between 30 minutes and two years from the date they are downloaded to your device.

You can control and manage cookies in various ways. Please keep in mind that removing or blocking cookies can negatively impact your user experience and parts of our website may no longer be fully accessible.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose whether or not to accept cookies through your browser controls, often found in your browser’s “Tools” or “Preferences” menu. For more information on how to modify your browser settings or how to block, manage or filter cookies can be found in your browser’s help file or through such sites as: www.allaboutcookies.org.

Additionally, please note that blocking cookies may not completely prevent how we share information with third parties such as our advertising partners. To exercise your rights or opt-out of certain uses of your information by these parties, please follow the instructions in the “Behavioral Advertising” section above.

Cookies are small data text files that are sent to your internet browser by the websites you visit and these are read by pixel tags.  These cookies provide anonymous data on how a website is used so customer experience can be enhanced.  The type of info collected includes but isn't limited to how visitors arrived on the Website, which pages they visited as well as the total number of visitors.  They are also used to identify returning visitors, store and retrieve their preferences, keep track of the shopping cart's contents among other functionalities.  The cookies we use are as follows:

  • Necessary/Essential Cookies: These are needed for our Website to function & enable visitors to move around the site and use its features.  Without these, our online service can't be provided.
  • Performance Cookies: These gather anonymous information about your activity on the Website and they allow us to customize your experience.  We could use your IP address to identify server issues, administer the Website and enhance our services.  These are only used following your consent on the cookie banner.
  • Targeting/Advertising Cookies: These enable us to understand aspects like Website traffic & where it is coming from, which pages are visited and how many times.  The cookies we use are ours or third-party cookies. Our targeted cookies are set by our Website and share the same domain. Third part cookies are however set and stored by the third party provider/organization which we carefully select in order to give you a more tailored experience.
  • Analytics Cookies: There are various third parties that enable us to study and enhance how customers interact with our Website.  Examples of such companies we use are Google Analytics.

By using our Website you explicitly agree that we may place cookies on your device and access them whenever you visit the Website or other websites operated by us.

The lifetime of a cookie varies upon the purpose it serves; the maximum life time we use is one year and the minimum is one day. Most of the cookies would be deleted once you close the browser.

If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team at cs@shopoceandrive.com.

While most browsers automatically accept cookies, you can still delete them from your browser and edit your browser options so you do not receive them in the future.  Please note that doing so will block many of the site's functions and therefore the Website won't work as intended and designed.  For more information please visit www.aboutcookies.org.
